The biggest road marathons in the world are difficult to enter. They’re also expensive. Meanwhile, there are so many small marathons that happen across the globe that we may never hear about that are maybe even more scenic and just as much fun yet have none of the pressure of waiting to see if we made it in. In today’s episode, I give 12 marathons, one for each month, that are all scenic and are either locally run or run by small companies.
I also include today a short on locale recording done from a mini mic I bought that explains my feelings towards my hip pain and my recent revelations.

After doing a bit more research after recording, I realized that a couple of these races were run by small non-local companies. So, even though they are not local, they still are not corporate and the majority are locally run.
