Ep 178 – Reflections on 17 Sober Years!

I could never do what I’m doing today without being sober. In fact, I doubt I’d still be alive if I hadn’t stopped drinking. I reflect today on what being sober means to me and how much it changed my life and my running. Like running, being sober takes strength. It takes constant effort and like an ultra race, it takes endurance. Join me today as I look back and as we all work towards our goals!

#178 - This week is the 17th year of my sobriety! I am forever grateful for the gift of sobriety. Without it, I probably wouldn't be alive, let alone running. This week, I take time out, as I always do for my sober anniversary to talk about when it means to me and what running means to me.
