In an attempt to improve my sleep, I downloaded a sleep tracking app, Sleep Tracker. I used it as directed for a couple weeks in March. The first few nights were interesting. I thought it gave me insights to how long it took me to fall asleep, how deeply I slept and how much REM sleep I got. But I soon realized that it was not accurate. The picture below states it took me over an hour to get to sleep, but on this particular night, I was asleep very quickly.
On other nights, it showed me asleep when I was awake.
I know there are paid versions of sleep apps, but I wonder if they are any better at tracking our sleep? If any of you have experience with sleep apps, I’d love to hear your experience. I will give it a big thumbs down!
